Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Prepare nutritious meals and accommodate special dietary needs
- Provide companionship through conversation and recreational activities
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Manage medication schedules and assist with administration
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social outings
- Maintain accurate care documentation
- Perform light housekeeping duties (laundry, tidying)
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record
- Passionate about senior care with compassionate nature
- Ability to lift 50lbs and assist with transfers
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Negative TB test and background clearance
