Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and organization
- Provide companionship through conversation, recreational activities, and emotional support
- Monitor health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to appointments and errands
- Administer medications according to care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification preferred
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
