Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and ensure clients take their prescriptions as directed.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping related to client care.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, or social events.
- Monitor client well-being and promptly report any changes in health or behavior to supervisors.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or nursing assistance is a plus.
- Must pass a background check, drug screening, and health assessment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine, patient demeanor are essential.
