Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility issues using wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices.
- Communicate patient status changes and concerns to registered nurses and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Support patients with feeding and hydration needs.
- Document all patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Florida.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/BLS certification is required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
