Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities
- Administer medications under RN supervision and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop resident care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or assisted living experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Excellent communication skills and empathy for elderly population
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail in documentation and care protocols
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
