Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient vitals (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration) and record them accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
  • Prepare patients for examinations by assisting with gowning and draping, and obtaining medical history.
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician, strictly following safety protocols.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, including phlebotomy and urine analysis.
  • Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and answering patient inquiries.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current certification as a CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant) preferred.

  • Strong computer proficiency with EHR systems.
