Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care assistance with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Provide companionship and engage residents in therapeutic activities
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or assisted living
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills with empathy and patience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
