Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of clinical and administrative duties to ensure our medical facility operates efficiently. You will be the first point of contact for many of our patients, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for from the moment they arrive.

Responsibilities

  • Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history reviews accurately.
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians during procedures.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
  • Maintain and sterilize medical equipment and instruments.
  • Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
  • Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming inquiries.
  • Assist with lab testing, specimen collection, and result reporting.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
