Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to implement and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers regarding patient needs.
- Administer medications as directed by the Charge Nurse.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of California CNA license and certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient dignity and respect.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
