Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN or Physician.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, wheelchair transfers, and ambulation exercises.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and nutritional plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, active California State CNA license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred but not mandatory).
- Previous experience as a CNA or Home Health Aide preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
