Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and timely.
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning individuals safely using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare and serve meals according to individual dietary plans and preferences.
- Document patient care information, changes in condition, and response to treatments in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff, patients, and families to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
