Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to clinical team
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals per dietary plans
- Document patient observations accurately in EMR systems
- Transport clients to medical appointments and errands
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Maintain clean, safe environments per OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Active Illinois CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year professional CNA experience
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation with valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and observation skills
- Passionate about geriatric care
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
