Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Support infection control protocols and maintain clean patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Administer medications under RN supervision
Qualifications
- Active Colorado CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtainable within 30 days)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Compassionate approach with elderly and vulnerable populations
- Basic computer literacy for documentation systems
