Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and promptly.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide compassionate care and emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients.
- Document patient progress, symptoms, and care activities in accordance with facility policies.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA certification (CNA-I) in the state of Indiana.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not always required for high-performers.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- CPR certification is required upon employment.
