Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Communicate changes in patient conditions to the nursing team promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Georgia (or Florida).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Basic Arrhythmia (or equivalent) certifications preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
