Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to patients, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with facility and hygiene standards.
- Document all care activities and patient observations in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Physical stamina to perform standing, walking, and lifting tasks as required.
