  • Communication: Serve as a key communication link between patients, families, and the healthcare team, reporting changes in patient condition promptly.
  • Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to all infection control and safety protocols.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care plans in the electronic health record system.
  • Assistance: Support nursing staff with procedures, specimen collection, and preparing patients for examinations or procedures.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Tennessee required.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care or hospital nursing assistant experience is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and medical staff.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required at time of hire.
