Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Medication Assistance: Support residents with medication reminders and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure residents are clean, comfortable, and in a safe environment at all times.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with the nursing staff and families regarding resident status.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and care plans.
Qualifications
- Valid CNA License: Must hold a current, unencumbered CNA license issued by the State of Florida.
- Experience: Previous experience in long-term care or assisted living is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for helping the elderly and disabled populations.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods as required by the role.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
