Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with meal service and ensure patient comfort
- Collaborate with RNs and medical staff on patient care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments per infection control protocols
- Transport patients to diagnostic and therapeutic departments
- Support emotional well-being through attentive communication
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
