Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and position changes
- Support licensed nurses with clinical procedures and medication administration
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and inventory
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Adhere to all HIPAA and facility safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with reliable documentation abilities
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed
