Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate.
- Hygiene: Maintain patient hygiene and comfort while ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Communication: Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Documentation: Accurately document patient care activities and intake/output in electronic medical records.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current, unencumbered CNA certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Licensure: Must possess a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Physical: Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as needed; ability to stand for extended periods.
