Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and ensure accurate documentation of patient data.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status.
- Support patients with mobility issues using wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
- Strong compassion, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
