Responsibilities
- Monitor Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Assist with Daily Living: Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Patient Hygiene: Provide essential grooming and hygiene care to maintain patient dignity and comfort.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and care logs in compliance with hospital policies.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to report changes in patient condition.
- Safety: Ensure a safe environment by following infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current North Carolina CNA license required.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassion: Genuine passion for patient care and a patient-centered approach.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed.
