Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument preparation and suction management
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize equipment between patients
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems accurately
- Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort
- Order dental supplies and maintain inventory levels
- Coordinate with front desk on patient flow and scheduling
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings and occasional Saturdays
- CPR certification preferred
