Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Provide chairside assistance and patient comfort measures
- Execute infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling efficiency
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and charting software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control mastery
- Valid Nevada dental radiology permit
