Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for optimal efficiency
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and aftercare
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with front office staff for seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DA/DANB/CDA)
- PA state radiology license or willingness to obtain
- 1+ years clinical dental assisting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Current CPR certification
- Flexibility to work 3-4 days/week including some evenings
