Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Panoramic, Periapical) and digital images.
- Ensure strict adherence to sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using dental software.
- Manage chairside assisting duties efficiently to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- DANB Certified or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
