Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in assigned clinical units (ICU, ER, MedSurg, Telemetry)
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress accurately in EMR systems
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications required
- EMR proficiency (EPIC, Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Flexibility for rotating shifts and weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
