Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, including instrument preparation and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize equipment
- Manage patient scheduling and front desk coordination
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Document patient information accurately in digital systems
- Provide post-procedure instructions and education to patients
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (NV state)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental software (Epic, Dentrix, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Positive attitude with patient-first mindset
