Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: suctioning, instrument transfer, and oral evacuation
- Execute digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance in sterilization and instrument processing
- Manage patient flow and prepare treatment rooms efficiently
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Deliver pre/post-op instructions with exceptional clarity
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of infection control protocols
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Strong communication skills in English/Spanish a plus
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week (evenings/weekends required)
