Responsibilities
- Delight clients with exceptional personal care including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary restrictions
- Provide mobility support and safe transfers using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report health changes to care coordinators
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain safe living environments
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and document observations
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance client well-being
Qualifications
- Valid California HHA certification or equivalent caregiver credentials
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- Clear background check and TB test results
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
