Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene to ensure their comfort and dignity.
- Medication Management: Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as trained.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to reduce isolation.
- Light Housekeeping: Help maintain a safe, clean living environment by assisting with laundry, meal preparation, and light cleaning.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record temperature, pulse, and blood pressure as directed by the RN or case manager.
- Mobility Support: Safely assist clients with transfers, walking, and navigating their home environment.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
