Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care in acute care settings including ICU, ER, or Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, JCAHO standards, and state regulations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical nursing practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred (ADN considered with experience)
- Flexibility to adapt to new clinical environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
