Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor client health status, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to improve their quality of life.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Administer medication as directed by the care plan and nurse.
Qualifications
- Current California Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
