Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry management.
- Monitor and report changes in client health status, mood, or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients to enhance their daily living experience.
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments, social events, and errands as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care services and client interactions.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Current Kentucky Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is preferred.
- Valid Kentucky driver's license and current auto insurance are mandatory.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a significant plus.
