Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and report changes in client health status, mood, or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to help reduce feelings of isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, therapy sessions, or social outings.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Valid California Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform lifting and assisting tasks.
