As a Home Health Aide, you will be the heart of our care model, providing companionship and assistance that allows seniors to thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in physical or mental condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Case Manager.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry as assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to combat loneliness and improve quality of life.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social activities, and community outings.
- Administer prescribed medications and track medication schedules accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for the client.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification/license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility needs.
- Experience in geriatric care is preferred but not required.
