Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and compounds under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory control including ordering, receiving, and stock rotation
- Process insurance claims and verify patient eligibility
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and profiles
- Operate automated dispensing systems and pharmacy software
- Provide exceptional patient education on medication usage
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician license required
- Prior retail or hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Certification through PTCB or ExCPT
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and protocols
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software (e.g., QS1, Omnicell)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume settings
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
