Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs, medical history, and updating patient records.
  • Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests, including phlebotomy and EKGs, and prepare specimens for analysis.
  • Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and handle incoming phone calls professionally.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
