Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care by assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and implementing care plans.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, escalating concerns immediately to the nursing supervisor or physician.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and promptly in electronic medical records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while adhering to all hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
