Responsibilities
- Conduct patient vitals (blood pressure, height, weight) and initial health screenings.
- Prepare examination rooms and instruments to ensure a sterile environment.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage patient intake, registration, and insurance verification accurately.
- Administer injections, vaccines, and perform basic lab draws.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with medical software and EMR systems.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including some evenings or weekends.
