Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, record vital signs, and update medical histories accurately.
- Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized clinical environment.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and equipment before procedures.
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as directed by physicians.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and wellness tips.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and ensure data confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CNA) required.
- Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth).
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
