Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist providers with patient examinations, minor procedures, and vital signs monitoring.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient check-in/check-out, update electronic health records (EHR), and process insurance paperwork accurately.
- Lab Work: Perform basic laboratory tests, draw blood, and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain exam rooms in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition.
- Communication: Answer phones, schedule appointments, and relay important messages to patients and staff.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and clinic protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA or RMA certification (or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- License: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Skills: Proficiency with electronic medical records (EHR) systems.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Availability: Must be available for part-time shifts, including some weekends or evenings.
