Responsibilities
- Perform accurate patient intake, including reviewing medical history and vitals.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers during clinical examinations.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.
- Manage patient records and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate with insurance companies for prior authorizations and referrals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Health Records software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
