Core Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate patient intake and vital signs monitoring.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and minor procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using our EHR systems.
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring strict sterilization protocols are followed.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and handle incoming calls with professionalism.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and medication instructions.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) software (e.g., Epic, AthenaHealth).
- Ability to work flexible part-time hours, including some weekends or evenings.
