- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies through follow-up
- Maintain accurate patient records and billing documentation
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and healthcare billing regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify coding and documentation
- Generate monthly billing reports and reconcile accounts
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of medical billing experience
- Certification (CPC, COC, or CCS) preferred
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
