Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients, answering inquiries, and resolving insurance verification issues.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving, stocking, and organizing pharmaceutical products to ensure availability.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment in strict compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Process returns, refunds, and handle over-the-counter sales transactions.
Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy management systems.
