Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status to identify changes in medical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, strictly adhering to infection control and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical patient needs within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing for the state of Colorado.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Willingness to be flexible with shifts and travel to different facilities as needed.
