Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws with precision and patient comfort in mind.
- Prepare and label blood specimens accurately for laboratory analysis.
- Verify patient identity and confirm medical information prior to collection.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and documentation efficiently.
- Assist with patient intake and provide a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- Current Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) required.
- 1+ years of clinical phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Basic computer literacy and EHR experience.
