Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws with precision and patient care
- Process and label specimens according to strict protocols
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Verify patient identity and prepare specimens for testing
- Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
- Document procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Provide exceptional patient education and support
Qualifications
- Current California Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong venipuncture skills with all patient populations
- Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
